According to the news, UARS will be decommissioned on 24th Sep..What is UARS short for? It's Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite!!

When I heard the news, I was shocked!  Though parts of the large pieces that broke off UARS have already burned up in the atmosphere, the rest?  It's said the odds of anyone getting hit by the UARS are 1 in 3200 (more than that of getting struck by lightning, 1 in 280000), but it draws less attention in my country!!!!!

For UARS, it is not a normal decay! Why does it go that way?
